Return and Refund Policy

At Fougère Patisserie, we are dedicated to crafting exceptional, restaurant-quality desserts and pastries. We take great pride in our culinary artistry and the fresh, authentic ingredients we use. Because our products are perishable, our return and refund policies are designed to ensure health, safety, and quality control while providing you with the highest level of customer service.

Due to the perishable nature of our edible products—including but not limited to Cake Jars, Cheesecake Jars, Cookies, and Custom Cakes—we do not accept physical returns or exchanges.

For health and safety reasons, once an edible product has left our kitchen or has been delivered, it cannot be restocked or resold. Therefore, all sales of pastry and dessert items are final.

We stand behind the quality of every dessert and pastry created. If you experience an issue with your order that is due to an error on our part (e.g., receiving the incorrect item, severe damage during delivery, or a product that does not meet our freshness standards), we are here to make it right.

• Reporting an Issue: You must contact us within 24 hours of receiving your order.
• Required Documentation: Please provide your order number, a brief description of the issue, and clear photographs of the product and the packaging.
• Resolution: Upon review, Fougère Patisserie will, at our sole discretion, provide a replacement of the affected item, issue a store credit, or process a partial/full refund to your original payment method.

Please note: Do not discard the item until you have communicated with our team, as we may need to investigate the issue.

We understand that plans can change. Because our products are made to order from scratch, we require sufficient notice to adjust our production schedule.

• Standard Menu Items (Jars, Cookies, and Packaged Pastries): You may cancel or modify standard orders up to 48 hours prior to your scheduled pickup or delivery time for a full refund. Cancellations made within 48 hours are non-refundable.
• Ready-to-Order & Custom Cakes: Custom creations require significant planning and time. A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your booking. Cancellations made at least 7 days prior to your scheduled date will receive a refund of any balance paid beyond the initial deposit. Cancellations made within 7 days of the event are strictly non-refundable.

Our delicate pastries and custom cakes require careful handling. Once an order is handed over to the customer at pickup or successfully delivered to the specified address, Fougère Patisserie is no longer responsible for any damage that occurs (e.g., cakes melting due to being left in a hot vehicle, structural damage from dropping or sudden stops, or improper refrigeration). We will provide you with proper handling and storage instructions upon request, and we highly recommend following them closely.
